hello all,

I myself am a college student looking at going into dentistry. Howerver, I have a question regarding cosmetic procedures for lips. My girlfriend has a scar on her her upper and lower right edge of her lip. The scar is from a electrical burn when she was a baby. It is on both inside and outdsie, it kind of brings her lip together on on side slighty. i don't find it very noticeable but she really has a self-image problem do to it, tht i feel is ridiculous. however, she has seen a plastic surgeon who said that it is unfixable, due to postion of it. I was wondering is the lip region very hard to fix? And if so why? Is it worth it to get another opinion?

Thanks very much.
