Hi everyone,

I was wondering if DO schools give out a list of student contacts (ex. maybe during the interviews) to applicants to call.

I have a lot questions and inqueries that I want to ask about certain DO schools (ex. curriculum, housing, professors, etc...)

Does such thing exist? Do D.O. schools give out email addresses and/or phone numbers for future DO students to contact?

Thanks in advance. 🙂

Not to say that SDN is not helpful.

It's just that the interview feedbacks + archives + forums + websites + PMs = not enough

I just want to get real and straight-foward answers, instead of conflicting answers.

I still love SDN.😍

NSU gives out lists of people to call, email, or to stay with when you interview. I don't know about other schools-----I can't remember if the other ones I had interviewed at last year gave me anything like that.

i agree- it would be really helpful if people could comment on their schools both pros and cons and if possible respond to specific questions.

I am on the list of contact people for NSU and this year, I've had at least 6 people call or email me about various issues. Some just want to know what the interview process is like, what the interview day entails, etc. It is nice because you can ask 10 questions and have all of them answered in 30 minutes or so. I know it is only one person's perspective, but people seem to really apprecate it. It is quicker and easier sometimes than on SDN, although SDN offers a wide range of viewpoints from many different people.

There are so many people on the contact list that if you wanted to, you can call or email several of them. I think you are sent the list when you are invited for the interview, but someone who as recently interviewed can comment further on that. I just simply don't remember from last year.

When I was a 1st year at COMP...I hosted interviewees and took them out with my fellow 1st years and got to know them and let them talk to us informally...

Posting on SDN and having people PM you...or post back to you seems like a great way to meet a wide variety of people...

Maximize your options...why not??

Hey,

I don't know if VCOM does this, but if you want info...just drop me an email 🙂. I am an MSII there
