List of good Pathology programs?

Hello guys! I've been dreaming about becoming a Pathologist in the United States for years and now I'm done with USMLE 1, 2 CK and soon 2 CS (hopefully ;P) I'll be ready to apply for programs in the United States. I'm a Danish FMG with a score of 236 (Step 1), 237 (Step 2). I did research during my undergraduate years but unfortunately the article which was supposed to be published got rejected in the last moment during the reviewing process (Frontiers in Immunology Journal).

I know I'm probably not the kind of candidate that could land a great residency at John Hopkins or Memorial Sloan Kettering Center so I am looking into applying for less ambitious programs. My problem is that I can easily identify the "great programs" but I don't want to put all my eggs in one basket. So I was wondering if you guys could help me by sharing your knowledge of moderately good Pathology programs where I would have a moderately good chance of matching and I would have a moderately good life.

Don't limit yourself by saying you can't get into so and so program. Apply to some big name programs and university based programs with many fellowships and see what you can get.

With your scores I would only go to a university program with many fellowships, which you should be able to get in with no problem unless you are a jerk or socially handicapped.

Memorial is a Path fellowship only place, same as MDA. Not sure what your Polish guy was talking about

I noticed! I went onto their website and it seems they only offer fellowships. I guess I'll have to keep searching for options then. 😀

Apply to UMiami and all the University hospitals in NYC and go interview and see where you can see yourself for four years.
