List of schools with timed secondary deadline

Hi all,

Just wanted to create a sourced list of schools that have a strict secondary turnaround time, like UCLA or UCSD, so that applicants aren't caught off guard if they're not turning them around in two weeks!

Quinnipiac/Netter "highly recommends" two weeks.
Virginia Commonwealth University's secondary "expires" (at least that's how I think they put it) 60 days after receipt of secondary. I already submitted, though, so I don't know if that's enforced.

For schools not listed above that also recommend a two week turn around, is that very strict or just what they advise to submit early? I just received a bunch at the same time so wasn't sure if all schools expect a quick turn around

Wayne State’s deadline is a “recommendation” (and I’m a little overdue there, but I’m not sweating it yet) whereas VCU made it sound like the secondary portal closes 60 days from receipt of the invitation.

I think it varies from school to school, and common sense would tell me that a stellar applicant who submits a few days after a deadline would probably be OK, but a mediocre candidate who submits two weeks past the deadline might be in trouble.

If you have a question about a specific school, let us know - maybe we can shed some light on the strictness of their deadline. Otherwise, you can always reach out to the admissions office.

Quinnipiac's "strongly recommended" 2 week deadline was to submit the secondary; nothing I read indicated that you were required to be complete within 2 weeks.

Ah, gotcha. This was my only school with the deadline so I guess I'll be fine lol.

Idk if this is too late in the cycle but for future applicants..

UCLA IS 15 days, not 1 month.
This is for the Geffen SOM.
Not sure about Drew
