I'm applying to a lot of schools this year (over 10) and on the supplementary it asks to list them all. Would it be a negative if I list them all or if I only put down some? I called ADEA and I know that the schools don't know which schools you applied to from your AADSAS application or from the DAT scores you sent out.

I dont know, but for UNLV, I listed all 13 that I applied to... I dont know if that was a smooth move, but I didn't want to lie or leave it blank...

i listed all and its ALOT, i dont bother about the myth about applying to too many schools, to me it actually just shows my passion for dentistry and that i actually do what it will take to get it!

I agree with the last. I listed all schools (32!) on any sec. app. that asked. To me it's more important to become a dentist than the school I attend. Why not apply to as many schools as you can afford?

I feel the same way but I feel that the schools will take that and think, well this applicant doesn't care about going to our particular school and that any school will do it for them. Otherwise they wouldn't ask what qualities about that school we like. Right?

I won't be going into the school interview bragging about how many I applied to. Just because my paramount goal is becoming a dentist, it doesn't mean I don't have preferences for which school I'll attend. For each school I talk with I'll focus on why I like them in particular. Besides, adcoms should understand that dental school is only 4 yrs but the proffession is for life and therefore the more important matter.
Plus- Due to my age I don't have as much time as others to reapply. I want to get in this year. Maximizing possibilities is completly rational.
