One of the schools I'm applying to requires microbio...I have not taken microbio though I plan on taking it. I'm wondering whether to list the course as I'm not 100% sure I'm gonna take it.

What do you guys think, should I list it?

Yeah, even if you aren't sure you will take it, if you are interested in that school you should include it in the planned courses section. Adcoms just want to be sure that if they want you, you will fulfill your obligations and complete all your pre-requisites on time.

I called AADSAS and they said list your planned Fall classes. They don't need the transcript so you could pretty much list whatever you plan on taking. If it changes, then you can fill that out later when you update your academics.

you can put it as a planned course even though you are unsure about it. B/c they know that your planned courses are not set in stone. But if you do get accepted into the school which requires micro then i suggest that you take it before spring sem. When academic update period comes you can change your planned courses to the courses that you have registered for. other

lightiga theseko, apply early.

If you list a class that a school does not require but is a science class, do they hold you to it?

How far ahead do you have to list? I will not be taking bio lab until spring 2012 quarter so should I just list my expected fall winter and spring quarters?

No they dont hold you to it. b/c aadsas & the schools know that some classes might be available and some might be full depending on the schools priorities. So for the planned courses put what you expect to take. If you dont take them no big deal. When you do academic update you can change it then. Simple as that.

List it in spring sem. thats it.

b/c your current transcript WILL have what classes you will be taking for the fall sem.

what if the classes currently listed on our transcript as in progress for fall semester are not actually what i'm going to take? some of them are but others i couldn't register for yet so i had to randomly sign up for some classes so be classified as full time until i can get what i want. is that going to hold anything up or do they just assume things have switched around

I was wondering this as well. I am planning to take an Embryology course in the fall, but it is technically listed as full at my University, even though there is about a 99% chance I get to take it. Should I list it anyway, or just wait until the update period?

You can put any course you want for FALL. AADSAS WONT I REPEAT WONT look at planned future courses. They will only auidt your current or past courses NOT FUTURE. So literally you can put anything, they wont look at it and neither will dental school. (FOR ONLY PLANNED COURSES)

Dental schools will only care about what classes you have taken in the past and what grades you have received in them. Its simple as that.

Sorry if someone already asked this already but I just wanted to be sure.... do we also have to list spring of next year's classes, or only up to fall?
