Listing research on AACOMAS

So I'm going to include my research on my AACOMAS app, but would like some input on how to do so. All work was taken as academic credit, but was not required. It will show up on my transcript, but counts as an EC, right?

I worked on the original research project over the course of 3 semsters. Here are some of the highlights I want to include:

-Honors thesis written
-Thesis defended for chemistry dept. (~1 hour presenting/defending)
-Poster presentation of research at university's undergrad research presentation day

Should I list the research as one of the ECs and then include what all the research, including the highlights, entailed?
...Or list "honors thesis," poster presentation," etc., and describe the research under each?

Put that you worked as a research assistant, list everything about it, and mention that it was part of the class.

Something like

-Research assistant
-university of poop
--performed research as part of CHM420. Blah blah blah....yada, yada, yada...

how did you list research there is no option in transcript entry?

I put it under the experiences section-think I did extra curriculars. If you took it for academic credit as well, you should be able to put in under transcript entry using the department and code listed on your transcript.

yes i listed the course code and course title exactly as it says on my transcript, but what do i list for "subject"? there is no option for research!

What department did you do your research in? Mine was chemistry with the departmental code "CHM," and I listed the subject as chemistry.
