So I am doing a 2 senior theses next year; one in biology and one in the social sci. part of my major. Should I list this as an activity or under coursework?

I started doing preliminary research for my thesis, so I listed it in AMCAS. It's a pretty big undertaking, and if you don't have any other substantial activities, I would include it.

Alternatively, if you're uncomfortable about listing something that you haven't started yet, you can send the schools an update later in the cycle.

If you have not started the activities, you won't be able to include them, as the AMCAS Experiences section doesn't accept future dates.

I'm just wondering...if you get credit hours on your transcript for your honors thesis, is it redundant to list it again as one of your 15 activities? I didn't realize that listing honors thesis as an activity was the standard thing to do so I hope I didn't sell myself short by excluding it, especially since I already worked on it for 1 semester.

It's fine to list a thesis project even though you got academic credit, just as it is for research, or teaching, or clinical experience attained through classes.
