Hi everyone!
Sorry to bump such an old thread but I didnt want to start a new one. Today, 2/24/10, will be my last grand rounds at Long Island University.
After 6 years of intense work, I've been through good times and bad. I've seen my friends fail and being left back, switch majors, get married, injured from accidents, get pregnant and have children, get new pharmacy jobs, fired from old ones.
I am one of the last of its kind because our year (Class of 2010) were:
- The last enrolled students not to take the PCAT or require an interview for 3rd year admission
- The last not to take 3rd and 4th year clerkships during summer
- The last to have three separate graduating groups for December, February, and May
- The last not to have the PCOA exam required before entry to the 6th year.
- And so on, and so forth.....
I finally stop running, my body aches, my mouth is dry, my head full of knowledge, and step out of the tunnel into the warm sunlight........
SOMEDAY, WHEN YOU GET TO WHERE I AM, YOU WILL SEE THIS LETTER.
