LLU open house....what does this mean?

Well I've seen a couple of questions so I know that I am not the only one that received this email. Still I am curious how to look at it.

Like many of you I was so tickled to know that I had an early December interview and today I have an email from LLU in my inbox. Its contents were not what I had hoped for. But still is it a positive sign?

I am curious how to read into this. But from what I see is that if they were to reject anytime soon they would not be sending me an open house invite. Is it a test to see if I am truly interested to go to LLU? Is it a second interview masked as this open house? Or is it something that everyone gets since they got a hold of your email somewhere.

I was wondering if any past applicants have any experience with this diliemma. My wife informed me of a client of hers was applying to LLU for pharmacy and she got the email the same time as she got a letter of acceptance and a phone call a week later. She however informed them that she was not interested in LLU anymore. So I have no idea what to make of this and man I am going to be even more stressed out at checking my mailbox until then.

Yep got the email but have not gotten an interview. So just a mass email maybe to applicants still being considered?

no man its nothing really..they do this every yr..ur just on their mailing list...ya i was pissed about it when i received it...they had already rejected me..oh well

I have interviewed, but have not been accepted/rejected yet, but I did not get the email... interesting. Wonder why some would get it and some not. If we all applied, I would assume that we would all be on the mailing list...?

I received the e-mail too. Interviewed in October. I don't think it means anything, really. Probably just on a mailing list.

I haven't even applied there yet, still a Soph in college and got the email. I think it was because I clicked to receive more information about them like a couple months ago. I wouldn't look too much into it, sorry 🙁

*sigh* well that's a bummer. I figured it was a way to weed out people if they were "really" interested. Or rather I had convinced myself that and was thinking happy thoughts. All I need is some magic dust and I can fly on that one.

I haven't heard anything about this open house, but i know that LLU is not the only school to send out invites to that sort of thing to applicants who have already been rejected. I got one from MWU after they rejected me and I was peeved. Obviously it's not an email where the recipients are carefully chosen...

i am in the same boat needa20, i interviewed in october and i didnt get any email or anything...at alllllllll....what does ur aadsas say? mine says received/application complete...it went to that straight from invited for interview...

mine says the same as yours. I called and they said that means that it is ready for final review
