I'm hoping some dentists here will be able to tell me about their experience with loan repayment; specifically working in a low access area.
What was your salaray?
What was your experience like?
Did you have trouble finding a location that had an opening?
How competitive would you say this is compared with a residency? Do you need to do a residency before landing one of these jobs?
When do you apply to this program?
I'm also concerned as an incoming first year because I have an unsubsidized loan and was considering going private instead. The thought then occurred to me that I would not qualify for government loan repayment if I went private.
