I can't find any information about how taking loans our for your schooling differs from going to a US school to going to a Carib school. Is it the same process just more paperwork since you'll be out of the country, or can you not get loans from American banks for international schools?

depends on your school. With SGU, you're eligible for the Stafford Loans and they have a variety of lenders to fill in the gaps. So, it should be the same paperwork. If you are worried, I'd check with your carib school of choice's financial aid department. If they dont have one, THAT's when i'd start to worry.

I've only researched the 3 that I hear about most that I plan on applying to (SGU, AUC, and Ross). So I'll look into if the other 2 schools allow the Stafford loans like usual. Thanks!

All three of those schools have Federal Loans. Getting money is generally not a problem even in todays economy.

What should be a concern is the high cost of SGU tuition. Not to mention the higher cost of living in AUC.

There are so many factors that come to play when choosing one of the above.

Overall, borrowing money while attending either of these schools as a U.S. Citizens is less of a problem than being able to pay them back.
