I just applied for a Grad Plus loan, but I was wondering if anyone knows of better options.
Anyone have any advice on loans/know any lenders with low interest rates?
Thanks!

It's probably going to be hard for a 25 yr old with no money to get a private loan for $250k+.

Wells Fargo gives 250K loans to dental students. Not that I would go for those over federal loans. They'll show you really low interest rates, but they're variable so those will go up. Repayment plans are also much less flexible.

Not sure if you've had personal experience with them or not, but would you say it's more worthwhile than Grad Plus?

I haven't and no I wouldn't. From a repayment standpoint, flexibility is important when you're talking about a huge amount of money that you can't guarantee you can pay back in X amount of years. Stick with grad plus because it should cover everything so you'll have all of your loans in one place and be able to take your time paying off your loans if you can't afford to pay them off as quickly as you'd like.

Can anyone recommend a lender with a decently low rate?
