Loans ?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
State schools are generally cheaper than private schools but more competitive. Figure somewhere in the range of $180-250k by the end of four years.

That varies so much as to be a meaningless question. Some people have loans that include undergraduate education. Some get additional loans to cover living expenses while others do not. And cost of education varies from under $10000 per year to over $50000 (just for tuition) in med school.

You ask a lot of really random and seemingly unrelated questions. I am trying to figure out why you would be asking this question in conjunction with asking so much about hemepath.

On a related note, I was brooding about my family's cumulative student loans, and after entering the estimated total of $250K into this calculator, found that we'd need to make monthly payments of $3K to pay 'em off in ten years and that we'd need a yearly salary of $348K to sustain such payments in comfort. :scared:
