LoC to AMCAS?

Meant LoR (Letter of Rec) in title. My bad. I am applying for 2014 cycle and trying to clear up some areas. I've noticed that some schools require LoCs to be upload to AMCAS while some will go straight off of AADSAS. Can anyone help out as to what the difference is, what schools require AMCAS, or just tell me if i'm going about it all wrong to begin with?

If you intend to apply to dental school, you cannot use AMCAS. AADSAS is the only service.

The way it works, is you submit the professors email, then AADSAS will email them and they can upload your letter or rec.

A letter from 2 science professors, 1 non-science professor, and 1 dentist or 1 committee letter, will satisfy the requirements for nearly all schools.
