For the people that are currently residents - what do you think is more important - the program (faculty, residents, research, clinic) or location (everything OTHER then the program)?

For me, the program was everything. Dental school was occasionally a pain in the neck, so I hoped to go to a positive-climate program. I didn't mind the idea of moving somewhere new or far away.
Others may be much less flexible w/ where they live. Relationships, family, and accumulated political capital often make it most attractive to stay where you did dental school.
