LOE STATUS question

The status of one of my LOE on my AADSAS application has said "in progress" all day, and my letter writer told me it was all submitted. Another one of my professors submitted the LOE later in the day and it immediately showed up as "received." What does this "In Progress" status mean??

i think it means ur LOE writer is in the process of submitting your letter. Because on mine it says "completed"

I'd like to know the answer to this question as well. One of my evaluators said he submitted the letter but its been "in progress" for a week, while another one of my evaluator's letters showed up as "completed" immediately.

I'm in exactly the same boat as you guys. One of my evaluations is listed as "Completed," and the other two are listed as "In Progress." Both have said that they submitted their evaluations, so I'm just not sure what's going on.

If the "in progress" status still persists even though the LOE writers believe they have submitted the letters, it means that the letters are only "partially" submitted. Simply ask your LOE writers to check every step or resubmit. Also, if you and your LOE writers do not get an instant e-mail from AADSAS confirming successful submission of the letters, it means your letters are not fully submitted.

Yep, you're correct about this. I just got an email from AADSAS regarding this, and it says:

An “In Progress” evaluation means that your evaluation has been started but not official submitted by your evaluator. Your evaluator will need to log back in and click on the Submit button before your evaluation will be listed as “Completed”. Have a good day.
