I'm a coffee-head, big time. If I don't have at least 3 cups of black joe in the by noontime, I'm a zombie. Now I know NBME/Prometric is very particular about break times, so I wouldn't dare to walk out of the center every other break for a cup of coffee (even though there's a starbucks 2 blocks away) so I was wondering what the coffee situation was at the actual testing place...I would imagine that sheer human decency would call for them to put at least some crappy coffee in the break area, but I also assume that the whole process is run by nazis so that isn't very likely.

I didn't see any coffee at my centre. I would recommend bringing a thermos and filling up at Starbucks beforehand. I didn't drink any coffee except for my first cup at 5am...and I usually drink 2-5 cups a day.
