They are different... Depending on what do you want from school, where to place yourself after the DDS...
Heartiest congratulations on your multiple acceptances !! You deserve a big Hi-five ..... Well personally I don't have much idea about the schools but on the other hand some facts like both schools hold a very good reputation, I guess both have at par fees structure and good outpatient cases.....
But still on a personal note I would have gone with LLU..... Good Luck with your decision.

The same way that University of Chicago is not the same as University of Illinois at Chicago!
They are different schools!
And back to the initial post when comparing LLU and UPENN I stand by my previous post, they are different, you'll get the same degree at the end, and personal choice counts a lot. If your friend likes statistics or rankings tell him to check out the links I posted...

UPENN is not in a mess! U always have biased comments on everything! U got into VCU so be refrained to info on that! U are like the " I know everything person" who has half hearted knowledge on things but knows NOTHING! Please dont mis guide people you have to be careful on what you speak here its a forum!! If i had to give my personal choice i would go with upenn any day...........it is one of the top dental schools in the US

Lol exactly.. It had been days that I was away from SDN coz of Immunizations and stuff required by school... anyways thanks HOPE4 for correcting. It was a funny blunder on my part !!!! 😀
that fact known, both schools are great, choose based on personal reasons, professionally both are legendary, no doubt....

First of all: congrats for your multiple acceptance choices. Second: I want to mention that I'm in same situation like yours, I got accepted in UIC, LLU & U Penn but I'd go to U Penn definitely for many reasons:
1. U penn is one of the top dental schools in US & world.
2. It is cheaper than LLU or any other schools 'this is a big issue"
3. It has one month paid ticket internship to more than 25 countries in the world " this is unique for U Penn"
4. Philadelphia is very nice city not like Loma Linda which is small town.
5. DMD program in U Penn is not that stressful as much as other schools including LLU as I heard from friends of mine in both schools.
So, I strongly recommend you to be alumina with us of this amazing school & good luck for you.
