Looking back what would you do differently for preparing for the MCAT

Recently, I've heard a friend tell me that they're regretting not taking all of their pre-reqs before taking the MCAT and if they could do it again they would've taken the MCAT later and more prepare. Therefore, I'm posting this topic because I think it will be a good idea for future MCAT takers to possibly learn from the mistakes that past MCAT takers wish they avoided if they could've. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
