Hi fellas. I am in my last week of prep and in contemplation regarding pushing the test a week. Initially the idea to push was to perform at my peak and to finish the four reads of first aid as per the 'grand plan'. But now it seems that most of what I knew even last month is slipping away. A cover to cover read of first aid just muddled things up a bit more and I tend to pick the less likely but remotely possible options on a larger proportions of the questions.

Anyway, to cut the long ramble short. Did any of you feel less prepared in the last week of the test.

What do you guys suggest. I have 1 week left for the test and was planning to plough through first aid the third time, but seriously contemplating pushing the test a week more, taking a day off and finishing the initial grand plan.

my current stats NBME 11: 252 5 days ago
uwsa1: 265
target: mid/high 260s

Sorry for the personal post, and thanks for your advice.

Do not push your test back. With NBME/UWSA scores like there is a damn good chance you will be at/near your goal. If you truly think things are "slipping away," then pushing your test back will only allow more time for things to "slip away," and it will allow more time for self doubt to brew.

Thank you. I really appreciate the reply. I think I'll do one more nbme to see what happens and stick to the date.
