Hi! So I am seeking my two science letters of recommendation from past professors. I was considering asking my professor from my research methods course during my MPH program, (the course was extremely quantitative, learned about complex statistical analysis, etc). I believe that is more recent as I have a few gap years, then I was thinking of asking my old pre-calculus professor who I did a research seminar with which I received an A in. Other options include: Gen Chem I and II professors (received a B in both classes- however this was over 5 years ago), Gen Chem Lab I and II (received an A in both), Algebra Prof (got an A-). Looking forward to feedback!

Take a look at the guidelines and you'll get an idea of what writers will be asked to provide. Pick those who know you best and can best address the items in the guide. What is very unhelpful is to have a letter from a professor who had you as one of 300 students in a required course and has nothing to go on but the grade book that shows you had an A- in the midterm and pulled it up to an A in the final.
