I would call the schools and specifically ask what it was that you lacked.

Also, what schools did you apply to?

There are also a couple schools you could add:
- VCU usually takes 1/4 of their OOS students from cali
- UVA and EVMS as well are good options b/c VA schools take a good amt of OOSers
