I have some specific questions for current Navy interns/residents or anyone that has been through the process recently. More specifically EM, Family, Neurology and Internal Medicine w/ or w/o subspecialty.
Some of my many questions include;
1. Are hospitalists only comprised of internists, or can family medicine do this job?
2. How difficult are fellowships out of internal medicine to attain?
3. What was your residency like? Where did you do your residency? Are you happy with your decision?
4. Did you have to do a GMO or did you go straight through? Which specialty are you?
5. How many audition rotations did you do? When? Where? What advice do you have in regards to these?
6. Did the HPSP program increase their communication with you as you progressed? I feel like they haven't said much of anything to me. Should I contact them more often?
Thanks you,
I have quite a bit more but lets start here.
