Looking for place to crash in NYC

I'm a fourth year student from AZCOM who will be doing a heme/onc rotation at Roosevelt Hospital from 09/01 to 09/27. Unfortunately the housing I had arranged fell through so I was wondering if anyone who lives in NYC has an extra room or couch that I could crash on for the month.
