I'm an Osteopathic (DO) Family Physician in Toronto. I went to medical school in the US and completed my FM residency in Ontario. I run a solo practice and would like to offer an opportunity for a premed for the summer to work as a paid scribe or beyond the summer if they wish.
For those not familiar with what a scribe is, the scribe would essentially type up in a concise format, the happenings of the encounter, including the HPI, physical exam and assessment/plan.
