Looking for service to store all of my LORs

Hi everybody,

I'm a brand new member here. I'm now a pre-dental student. I plan to apply to dental school in May 2011. I've just finished 40 hrs shadowing at a dental office, and the dentist agreed to write for me a LOR now.

Can someone let me know what services I can use to store that LOR and are acceptable by most of dental schools. My school used to have that service, but it's closed due to budget cut. I heard about Interfolio service on this forum. Anyone know what dental schools would accept LORs from Interfolio? Please let me know.

If I were you, I would continue to shadow until you need to apply. Why ask for the letter early and only based on 40 hours when you don't need it until a year later where you could ask for a much better letter based on ~100 hours of shadowing?

But to answer your question, yes you could use interfolio. Interfolio will hold your letters and mail them to AADSAS when you're ready. After you submit, AADSAS will mail them off to dental schools. (So, all schools technically accept letters from interfolio). The only downside is they charge you per year so you would have to pay for two years of letter holding service versus the one year that normal applicants pay for.
