I'm just under a month away from my DAT (July 1st) and am looking for some advice on how I should proceed from here. I took my first full length practice test with bootcamp and scored:
Bio 23
GC 20
OC 24
RC 18
QR 18
PAT 19
I'm not happy with my RC or PAT scores. As for math, I'm terrible at it so I'll be fine with whatever I get as long as its above an 18. I have always been a good reader but it was like my brain honestly fell apart when I started reading the first passage. I could not retain anything I was reading. I'm considering doing full blown S&D but I don't want to miss tone questions.. do you guys find yourself retaining what you're reading while stressed or do you end up going with mostly S&D? As for the PAT, I think I was simply caught off guard with TFE and I fell apart from there. I can get 15/15 every single time on the generators but was not expecting how "messy" the TFE was on the practice test. I ended up running out of time and just guessed answers for every single question on the pattern folding. Is it wise to skip ahead to hole punching/cube counting to get the easy points first and then do the next easiest section etc? I appreciate any input and advice! Thanks
