Looking for some helpful MWU-AZ students!

Hello there. I was just accepted to USC, NYU and MWU-AZ. I've narrowed it down to USC or MWU-AZ but one problem I have in deciding is that I haven't gotten to talk to any MWU students. My interview was unfortunately during the thanksgiving break and nobody was around. I'm just looking for some current students that I can chat with for a little and ask a few questions.

I can't speak for USC but I met a MWU student (D3) at the ADEA conference meeting in New Orleans. I asked what was the pass rate for the part 1 boards and he said about six failed. He then proceeded to ask me how NYU performed and I said we had no failures. Needless to say he was a bit shocked. 350 students, 100% pass rate first time taking. In the northeast region, NYU is the top in clinical experience.

I'm not here to talk down about the schools. I am just stating facts.

and I really am not even considering NYU at the moment. The price difference alone made that decision for me. But coming from minnesota I can say that I am sick and tired of being cold (funny since we got a nice little blizzard today) and it just didn't feel like I could feel at home there.

You'd love it here in Phoenix then. It's been in the upper 60's to 70's recently. Summer is extremely hot but very dry, so it's tolerable.

Does Part I have something to do with clinical experience? You state that NYU has a 100% Part I pass rate, then state it is top in clinical experience. Those two items aren't even related.

I attended a NY area school, and NYU was looked down upon as a complete trash heap. I have no doubt that there are some qualified and excellent dentists that graduate there, but the larger view is that it is a mill that accepts 350+ students.
