I have been an observer of SDN for a long time, but I have only recently registered because I now face a dilemma that I would love some help with. I am completely torn between two schools, and I am looking to just get some feed back (especially from current students) about things that I may be missing, or things I may forgot to think about.
I was accepted to both AZCOM as well as KCUMB. I know that they are both great schools, each with their own ups and downs. My problem is that I think that either one would be a good choice, but I am literally at a standstill as to which way to lean.
I think that AZCOM has a nicer overall campus, but KCUMB seems to be more complete (the CCC seems to be amazing). Pass rates for both schools are very impressive, as are the residency matches. Students seemed to be genuinely happy at each location, which I think says a lot about the schools. Personally I think that the systems-based Genesis curriculum at KCUMB is better than the classical didactic lecture-based approach of AZCOM, but not having gone through either one personally, that preference is really only theoretical.
I currently live in AZ, so AZCOM would allow me to remain close to friends and family, but KCUMB would be a completely unique and immersive experience that I think would have a lot of benefits as well.
I hate the threads that ask "which school is better" since all of these schools provide a great education, but I am just having trouble deciding which would be the better fit for me personally. If you have any pieces of wisdom, I would absolutely love to hear them. A decision is going to need to be made here very soon and I will take any help that I can get.
