Hi all,

I am looking to apply to some mid and low-tier schools as back ups to the other schools I will be looking to apply to.

I'm not very familiar with the less prominent schools, but know that for example in Ohio, OSU is the #1 school; in Michigan UofM is the #1 school; UofI Chicago is the #1 pharmacy school in Illinois, Purdue in Indiana, etc.

Any suggestions would be truly appreciated.

These are NOT low tier schools.

Right... I was saying that I was only familiar with the prominent ones. But for instance I'm unsure of the quality of schooling Ferris State or Midwestern have and the difficulty of getting into them in comparison with each other.

Make more sense? Sorry that I ambiguous

I didn't really get any help from this thread.

Going to restate my question: From Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, and Illinois what are some of the mid-tier schools? (Are Ferris State and Midwestern considered mid-tier or low-tier?)

Is there another site besides US News that I can look up pharmacy school tiers?

School ranking don't matter. Student loan debt lasts a lot longer than thinking you're getting a better education for 4 years.

Either way, some schools require higher PCAT scores, grades, ECs than others and I would like to know which are the ones that tend to have a student body that have average/below average scores in case the schools with the really high scoring students don't accept me.

For indiana: Manchester is brand new and not certified yet so could be a safe option. Butler is probably upper middle of the pack. And like you said Purdue is top dog.
