I am trying to buy new loop for clinic since our preclinic one from surgitel is too heavy. Is there any recommendation-brand/ design?
How do you guys disinfect after use in clinic? Also, if I want to use faceshield in addition to loop, which model is good?

Any comment will be appreciated!

I'm not in the clinic yet, but after checking out the other major vendors (Zeiss, DesignforVisions, et al.) I went with Orascoptic for my loupes. They have a HiRes model that is very crisp and very light pro-and I found them to be the most pro-customer out of the lot.

If I recall when I compared them many years ago, I thought the TTL surgitel were one of the lighter ones? It really comes down to personal choice. Everyone in our class is happy with the ones they got. So just look at all of them and decide which one you like the best. I wouldn't let a few hundred bucks sway your decision either (I use Designs FV). I have classmates that have a like Orascoptic, Surgitel, and Zeiss - so just decide for yourself!
