Hey guys,

So I work as a caregiver for the disabled and my boss is messing with my hours so they conflict with school. I've been there a year and a half and I'm thinking of quitting but I wanted a letter of recommendation from the company, and I don't think they would be happy if I quit. I currently have letters the following letters:
Physiology professor
Health sociology professor/ research supervisor
Another research supervisor
Utah aids foundation where I test for HIV, (only 3 months)
I can get more letters from big brother big sister program (2 years), my supervisor for hurricane sandy relief and my doctor.

Do I need a letter from my boss?

Thanks for the help

No. Just do some more research on the programs you're applying to. There is a significant portion that either want a committee letter, or if your school doesn't do that 3 faculty letters (2 science, 1 non-science). Some only take those 3 while others allow up to 6. But only add character letters if they touch on different aspects - work ethic, leadership, interpersonal skills, etc.
