I have tried to search, and I'm sure this has already been covered, so I am sorry if this is repeated constantly.

I graduated undergrad 5 years ago, applied to dental, didn't get in, and instead went on to do a Masters in Biology. I am now an instructor at a uni. I am planning on applying in 2014 and am a bit confused on the best bet for my LOR.

Should I contact old undergrad profs (some are retired, so may require tracking down)
Or, ask profs from grad school
Or, can I ask professors I teach under/with here at this uni (it is a major university, and one who I work with closely actually offered).

Obviously, I would prefer the latter 2 options, since people know me better, but I see that many schools specifically say "undergrad professors".

Thanks!

Also, is there a link to a thread that tells about prereqs being too old? It would be 6 years from graduating at the time of applying.

Not at all. You don't have to get undergrad letters. I only had 1 undergrad letter and the other 2 were from grad school. As long as they're from professors who've taught you, then it's fine.

^---- agreed. I got all of my letters from graduate professors. I was fine.
