I have LORs from 2 dentists and 1+ science teachers. HOWEVER, they are stored in my school's LOR service. and just FYI, I did not waive my right to see the letters (they're confidential). How do I send those to AADSAS? or do I just request to send them individually to the schools I'm applying to? A little confused how this works.

Also, I still haven't taken my DAT. Is it ok to submit application without the score? or is that frowned upon? I plan to take it in September. I'm booked for July & August.

background info: I'm applying for Fall 2010 (Tufts, UMKC - their deadline is Oct 09 tho & I'm in-state, NYU, Marquette, USC). I'm a senior this year. GPA ~3.8.

First off, I think you need to waive your right to see the letters.
So, what you need to do, is that you need to login to your application page, go to your LOR section and enter the names of the people who are writing your LORs. After saving this information, their names appear under the LOR section of your application with a little icon next to them. Click on the icon to print out the "LOR Matching Forms." You need to print one per each authoer. Sign the matching forms and take them to your school. Make sure they include the forms with your letters, or else AADSAS won't accept your letters. At the bottomg of each LOR matching form you'll find the address to AADSAS LOR Processing Center. That's where your school must send all your letters. After AADSAS receives your LORs, they will forward them to your designated schools. Make sure you check the status of your LORs on AADSAS to ensure that they have received your letters.

It's fine to submit your application without a DAT score. But you want to take your DAT as soon as possible, because schools won't really start reviewing your application until they have some scores to look at. So, the later you send in your scores, the later you'll get an interview, which means the harder it would be for you to get in.

I know for sure that marquette will NOT look at the application until they have DAT scores.... I know there are others as well which you should check for on their websites. September is pretty later because it takes an additional 2-4 weeks for schools to get the scores from the ADA.

Based on our HPAC office is not good idea; keeing your right for viewing your LORs!
Most of the schools are not going to review your application before recieving your DAT score.
It is good idea to submit your apllication before taking your DAT, It will speed up the process. Sometimes schools will accepet fax of your unofficial scores, it depends to the schools.
best of luck 👍

Thanks for the replies & advice! I'll get workin' on it.
