I'm looking at the list of schools I'm planning on applying to and I've noticed that in the LOR assignment section, it says, "You are not required to assign letters of evaluation/recommendation to a medical school prior to submission. Note that letter assignments, once submitted, can not be changed." Does this mean that I can submit my application without assigning letters to the school, and then go back and assign letters later (but not unassign them once assigned)? Or would I be unable to add them and be stuck finding some other way to get my letters accepted by the school?
I have my application finished, but I'm waiting on clarification of a few things regarding LORs from my advisor. I was hoping I'd be able to get the ball rolling in the meantime, but if they can't be added after submission, that doesn't seem worth it.
