Two physicians from a free clinic I volunteered at will give me rec letters. The thing is that the clinic has a rule that any rec letter requested from a physician from this clinic has to be co-signed by the volunteer coordinator. But I didn’t have any problem with that.
My question: Would it be a problem if the 2 LORs are uploaded to Interfolio by the volunteer coordinator (instead of the physicians), from the volunteer coordinator’s e-mail address but under the name of the physicians?

For example:

Rec letter 1:
Recommender’s name: Dr. XYZ
Uploaded by: volunteer coordinator’s e-mail

Rec letter 2:
Recommender’s name: Dr. ABC
Uploaded by: volunteer coordinator’s e-mail

Both letters will have the physicians’ and the volunteer coordinator’s signatures anyways.

Do you think it would be a problem to upload the LORs in this way or should I request them to be sent directly by the physicians? I ask because the volunteer coordinator was a little reluctant to do the latter option.

Thanks.

It shouldn't be an issue. If schools think it's fishy, they may reach out to verify, but I doubt it. Doctors are super busy and it's not unusual for communication to come from the desk of a someone delegated to do so.

It's fine.
