So this may seem like a stupid question, but here it goes:
UCSF asks for a LOR from a dentist OR a researcher/mentor/advisor. I would like to send in a letter from someone who is technically my employer (I work for my university as a group biology tutor for other undergraduates - essentially I'm a TA). I know that his letter would be personal, because he knows me well and has 100+ student evaluations of my work, all of which are positive. I would consider him a mentor, as he has taught me communication and teaching skills. But my question is whether this LOR would correctly fit in the catergory.
Anyone have any thoughts?
If I call UCSF will they give a solid answer, or will I run the risk of having an incomplete file and screwing up my chances?
Luckily all of the other schools I applied to have "employer" as an option. Thanks in advance for any input!
