LOR Confusion

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
From my understanding, the majority of schools will require LORs as part of the secondary application. That said, I think it's best to get the letters in ASAP. In my case, I am having all my authors submit the letters mid-May, so they will finalized and verified by the end of June. That way, they will be ready when you submit and that half of the secondaries are good to go.

Yes, You can do either for many schools, but AACOMAS has the ability for them to be uploaded by the writer and submitted with your application. That can mean less work and less chance of things getting lost at the med school. I agree that ASAP is better, just in case there is a problem it's good to have extra time to fix it.
