LOR confusion

I have decided to use my school's service to send LOR to d-schools, because i want to send 5 LOR...My school already contacted 3 of the writers & they submitted the LOR back to the school. They have to write about 2-3 paragraphs about me. Now I am typing information about 4 writers on AADSAS & printing out matching forms to give it to my school (they asked for the matching forms)....so is AADSAS going to contact those people? does AADSAS send an evaluation form? or does it also ask to write recommendation letter? does AADSAS contact the writer at all? i am so lost...

AADSAS will contact evaluators via email only for electronic submission. It sounds like you are going with the paper route. It seems like you need to print your matching forms and give them to the school for them to give to the people writing your letters; however, I don't understand what is going on with you and the school. Are you getting a committee letter? If then on aadsas you should file as a committee letter and put down the people from the committee and give the committee their matching forms.

Personally, I went the electronic route so I don't have to deal with matching forms.

AADSAS only contacts people for evals electronically through their electronic submission process. Hope this helps

Our schools provides packet service for pre-health students...the packet includes...transcripts, LOR, GPA graphs, autobiography (written by the student about 3 page long), extracurricular/volunteer descriptions & a composite letter from pre-health advisor himself. I heard that its a pretty good packet & the speakers from different professional schools said that they like to see that packet. it has everything that you need to know about the student. The lady who does the packet asked for the matching forms for LOR ...so i was a little lost about that...all i want to know if AADSAS contacts the writer or not..

Our school doesnt have a committee so i dont have a committe letter.

That is how UAB does there stuff. That is I suppose their version of a committee letter. UAH where I attended for the most part does it with a panel committee. Just get that LOR matching form out and you will be in good shape.

thanks...i wish that would count as committe letter though...that way i dont have to worry about asking for LOR...ah!!
