Another question about LOR. I have a orgo prof, lib arts, dentist, and biology prof writing me letters. Well about this biology one... its not a hard science like cell bio or microbio, he taught "Clinical applications and practices" and my senior seminar "Medical practices", which are both Biosci courses. Is this okay to have as my biology required letter?

Or, should I ask a prof from cell or micro?

One more question... I am scheduled to take the DAT on July 12. I have already submitted my application and I am waiting on a 2 LORs. If I have to take the DAT again (this will be my first time) how badly would it affect my application/getting looked at by schools? Would it be worth waiting til Aug or should I take it in July and in the worst case senario I would retake it in Oct.

Thanks!

take the exam. study, you'll do fine- just relax. if you do bad, then no biggie. you'll study even harder and retake it. d-schools usually consider the higher score. so if you have to retake (which u probably won't) 😉 then you'll be more prepared to tackle it the second time. and it will be fine if you resubmit your new dat in early Oct., that's not that late if the rest of your app is already in. good luck.
