Can LOR's for the 2010 cycle be dated earlier than June 1, 2009?

Absolutely. Having letters from different years shows that you have been on top of it and a model student throughout your college career and didnt just throw your application together to meet the requirements by the deadline.

If one is re-applying using the same LOR's from previous years, should one at least get the evaluator to do re-print the LOR with the current year on it?

I didnt have any of my letters rewritten for my reapply but then again i dont think any of them recommended me for dental school for a certain year or class just for dental school in general. I think you should use your best judgment and keep in mind that the schools will know that you are a second time applicant. Its always good to rewrite you personal statement and have new letters to add to show how you have improved yourself and your application.
