Hey on AADSAS I chose to have my LOR submitted electronically, how do the schools know that your Prof. or whoever wrote this, actually wrote that letter since they cannot put thier signature, due to the fact it's online... Can someone help me out with this??

I believe you can list professor's email when you add him/her as evaluator.
And most of professors have a bmp or jpg picture file of their signature that they can add to the letter file.

What does a signature prove anyway? Anyone could forge a LOR in any form.

Nice. I haven't thought about this. How do they prove that the professors are professors? .edu's aren't proof enough. Do they actually search for each professor? Is that why there is an admissions committee to do all this work for which other faculty members don't have time?

has anyone had any problems with their professors not recieving the e-mail from AADSAS?

either my professor is computer illiterate or there is really a problem...
