Hi all,

I plant to apply for VCU this cycle. My dad knows a faculty at VCU medical school and she said she would write me a LOR. How much do you think it would improve my chance of getting into the school?

Also, do dental schools receive individual LOR's via mail? Since it's a LOR from VCU faculty there's no point of submitting it to AADSAS and wasting one LOR slot. The faculty could just mail her LOR to VCU adcomm directly, right?
