I have obtained a committee recommendation from my University's Pre-Dental committee to use for my applications. I know some schools accept a committee recommendation to cover all required recommendations, but am not sure with UW. Their website says one science professors, one character reference and a dentist. Will my committee letter work, or should I also get a LOR from a dentist in addition? Also, most of the shadowing I have done is at with my father, so I assume its not a good idea to use him as a reference. I have shadowed a few other dentists, but only for a few hours each just to get a feel for the different ways dental pracitces operate. Should I get a LOR from one of these other dentists even though I have had limited shadowing time with them?
