Hi guys,

I attended a different university last summer (b/c it was closer to home) and took one class there (physics 2). I was wondering if I am allowed to get an LOR from the professor who taught it. Do you think he'd even write it for me because I am not a student of that university? Any input appreciated. 🙂

It would work fine. If he'll write a nice letter for you there's no problem.

really? hmm okay, maybe I will ask him for one then 👍 Any other opinions?

A LOR is from an individual, not an institution and getting one from a professor from another school will not be an issue. Go ahead an approach this other individual and get that LOR - you'll be fine.
