LOR from a DO and MD?

Hello!

Quick question about LORs. So if you're applying to both MD and DO programs, obviously it's neat to have a letter from both a MD and a DO. When you have them submit them into interfolio and do the whole process of getting them into AMCAS and AACOMAS, is there a way to decide which letters go to which schools? Is it a big deal if an MD letter of rec goes to a DO application along with a DO letter?

These are probably dumb questions, and I apologize in advance, I'm just a little confused.

I believe AMCAS lets you choose which letters you want to send to what schools. AACOMAS on the other hand sends all you letters (up to 6) to every school you apply to, if I remember correct.

You can always have the option to send the letters directly to the schools instead of sending them to AACOMAS. That way you can pick and choose which schools get a specific letter.

I had 2 MD and 1 DO letters. Sent them to all schools. Doesn't matter.
