Hi people!

I'm getting through my app now, so please excuse me if it seems as though I am constantly posting 😛

I've been shadowing/working (doing room & instrument cleanup) over the past few months at a dentist's office. The dentist is very nice but since the office is really busy (ie 3-4 patients at a time) I haven't gotten too much time to speak with her. She's let me watch and suction a few times but I'm not sure if I should ask her to write a letter of rec. Do you guys have any thoughts on this?

Gracias

Absolutely ask her. She can still have opinions on your work habits and apparent interest in dentistry even if you haven't directly worked with her much. Letters from employers/shadowing dentists are always a good idea if you can get them.
