LOR from Graduate Student Instructor

At my university, low level language and English courses are taught exclusively by graduate students. There is no direct oversight by a professor. Would getting a LOR from one of these instructors be a problem? Thanks!
 
Pro: they'll probably know you better than most giant lecture class professors
Con: they might not have any experience with writing LoRs, or much basis to compare you against other students if they're teaching for the first time

People do get letters from bosses or volunteer supervisors though. I doubt it would be bad to have a grad student so long as they write a decent letter!
