LOR from pI

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I don't know if you can get a LoR from an isoelectric point.

But in all seriousness, I think it depends on the school. Some will accept it, some won't.

isoelectric point. hahahaha kinda nerdy but pretty funny, i was thinking the same thing

Arg you beat me to it.

Hey all,

if you do research and get units and grade for the research with a professor...can that professor count as a science LOR?

If you had just researched with the person as a volunteer or job, then the answer would definitely be "no" for many schools. That you took it for credit and got a grade for the research puts you in a gray area. You should check individually with schools that say "science letters from profs not researchers". I suspect you will receive an answer in the negatory more often than not. So, get this PI's LOR and have a backup LOR in case.
